RESPECT . We are all here to write and enjoy the stories of our characters, that is one reason you should exercise kindness and be respectful to one another. We do not know the business of others' personal lives, so to be a decent human being, please be kind and courteous to your fellow members.COMMUNICATE . In an effort to prevent miscommunication, in a calm and dignified manner, communicate with an individual if you seek to clear up a misunderstanding. Even if you wish to plot or develop a story line away from the group, talk! Or if you feel like you can’t carry on an SL or interaction for whatever reason, that is fine - just reach out and let the person know..HANDLE MATTERS PRIVATELY . This is a zero-drama-filled zone. If you have an issue, address it in PRIVATE DMs, or PRIVATE ways of messaging the individual in a kind, courteous manner. We all should be civil and docile, this is a group that relies on kind interaction.KEEP IN MIND. Light hearted and playful banter is welcomed and by all means, encouraged, but excessive crack posts are not. We will also issue a ban if you post or retweet lewd content.

STORYLINES. As a general rule, we encourage you to bring your own ideas to our storylines! How will your character react? Only you can tell us, and we can provide questions or answers should you have any! Meridian is a group that fosters and encourages creativity and writing - you should feel to express your character's responses to the storyline however you see fit.

IC/OOC. Two separate chats will be made for IC and OOC interactions. Support, promotion, and engagement with other members of the group is encouraged. Even a simple 'like' or 'retweet' goes a long way. Please have the groups hashtag 'Meridian' during each response! Keep in mind, when you join Meridian, you are representing not only yourself, but the group, so conduct yourself with respectful RP etiquette.

THREAD DROPPING . If you feel like you can't do a reply or carry an interaction, that's absolutely fine. Please let the person you're interacting with know, or mention in the OOC chat that you wish to simply 'skip' this turn. There is no judgement. But please do not ghost the group or the person waiting to reply!WELFARE . Remember to look after yourself and take breaks. Drink water, have small snacks, and go for a walk. Long hours in a vector does nobody any good. Do not over use the force, we know the side effects - let the force flow through you.
